There is a reason Rad Bikes is one of the Top 5 Yeti Dealers, you can't sell that many high end bikes without exceptional customer service. Recently purchased a brand new 2023 Yeti SB160 frame and custom built it with their help. The bike is amazing and fell in love with it on the steep rooty/rocky trails of Silver Mountain. Hands down the best bike I've ever ridden there and that includes a couple downhill bikes and several enduro bikes. The 2023 Yeti SB160 really shines and comes to life when the trails get steep and techy. It's also super poppy and lively on the jump lines. Thanks for taking care of me Shawn and crew!”

“They don't know what they are doing it seems. I brought my Yeti in an selected the "all inclusive" package to give it the best possible service. It ran fine when I dropped it and was a disaster when I picked it up!! They told me I have the wrong rear wheel as the chain rubs the frame in highest gear. Out on the first trail I got stranded, because the free hub busted 5 miles in!! Apparently they messed with the bearing and did not put it back together right. Also the bottom bracket makes strange noises. Super disappointing!!”

“My first experience with Rad Bikes was yesterday and I can't say I am too stoked about it based on a couple things. I dropped my bike off on Friday (04/15) to have a new spoke installed/trued and due to the style of wheel it needed to have the tire/rim tape removed to be trued. I was browsing the shop and we (Sean and I) talked about new brakes so I asked to have those installed at the same time with a new rear tire since I had a couple tire plugs in the old one. I was told the install for the spoke was 25 and the brakes installation was free because "If you buy a component from us, installation is free." I picked up my bike Tuesday (04/26) after getting a text saying my bike was done. I got ready to settle up and I was told the brakes were 167 each when in fact I was quoted 149 each. I told him the quoted price and he said "you're right, we will honor that price." (Probably an honest mistake). I noticed that there was still a labor charge for the brakes so I brought that to Sean’s attention and he took care of that (again, probably a mistake). At this point I had already paid the total before showing him the labor charge so he said he would give me 40 in cash back, he handed me 35 and said have a good day, I told him you said 40 this is 35 (maybe an honest mistake again? I don't know). After getting back to my house I noticed my rear wheel was still ¼” out of true and to top it all off my rear tire was flat this afternoon (04/27) after paying for a new tire, new rim tape and sealant.”

“Unfortunately, every time I come to pick up there is some issue that got overlooked or miscommunicated resulting in an extra trip and hassle. At the end of the day, we just want to ride our bikes and that can be difficult if you are running back and forth for your bike. Update: I have since had multiple single point of failure bolts that I noticed were not torqued down properly and thus came loose in the short 3 months since they serviced my bike. These types of bolts should not be coming out this quickly in a service interval and if the rider was not to notice them, it would result in a crash.”

“Great service, amazing bikes, and ski equipment in the fall/winter season. Top notch mechanics. 1 1/2 days turnaround from when I ordered new brakes to when they were done-Jackson expertly installed them while I was next door having a pint! Also very good at conveying additional information about the brake features, bleeding procedure, and showed me how to properly set up the touchy SRAM derailleur. Yes, a high end bike shop, but a good selection for lower priced options as well. One thing you won't find here is low quality equipment, or anything less than the best service possible.”

“This is the go-to guy for quality bikes in Bozeman. Sean is high end - but has to be to sell the genre (downhill hill bikes) that seem to be really catching on. He sells all types though - just not the cheap around town type bikes. He is honest, fair and gets the work done quickly - no nonsense or sales talk. The bikes sells themselves - he has Yeti among other other top brands. He sells a boatload of bikes so he will bargain (a little) to get it done. He has a shop in BIg Sky during the summer to assist/repair on the spot - and to drop your dog off while you ride. It's a good riding community - check him out - you'll be glad you did. Double thumbs up - love this guy - his son helps also and is knowledgeable - but not as near as knowledgeable as Sean - the owner. I wouldn't buy a bike anywhere else. Having said that, Summit Cycles is pretty tough to beat in terms of fixing anything that rolls - they have the obscure parts you can't find in most stores. That's the best all around fix it shop for the 300 bike. RAD is the 3k bike store - and worth every penny.”
